Before founding Walt Law, Moffitt was an assistant District Attorney in NW Georgia before going into private law practice. That training as an assistant District Attorney in the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit helped launch his current criminal law litigation career.


For many years, he was a partner in a Rossville, GA legal firm, but decided to open his own law office in 2023. Now, along with his dad as an "of Counsel" legal advisor, Walt now has 100% control over all aspects of his law office management and follow-through for clients.
